It might also be helpful if you haven&#039;t any experience with Java programming to take a look at things like http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/ or Bruce Eckel&#039;s Thinking in Java electronic books http://www.mindview.net/Books/TIJ/ because to get to grips with Android, it does help to understand the underlying language. Some developers I&#039;ve know who tried forgot then needed to know Java before diving of into the SDK and then didn&#039;t understand it that well.
